She wanted to come happily for my sister's birthday, so my mother and I indulged her. But I have to say we were impressed with the whole experience. It's in a fairly upscale part of Phoenix and you can feel the atmosphere as soon as you enter. I couldn't tell who the server was, though. Anyway, once we introduced ourselves, everything was fine. He was affable and made our experience there interesting. First, we got Brussels sprouts and crab cakes on a layer of gravel. Absolutely delicious - frosted is creamy and smooth; buds are perfect. I ordered a little Italian garlic chicken with Italian stew. The skin of the chicken could have been a little more crispy, but its seasoning was good and the sun-dried tomatoes made it a bit sour and hot. Definitely recommended.
